hello ppl:D

i know the mid year exams will be over soon.(a matter of either today or tmr anyways)
so its time for us to start practicing already!you will probably think it is abit of rush but i guess it is better to start earlier then have too much extra practices closer to any performance events right??-i am sure you will agree:)))

ANYWAYS.
here's what i always do with the new score.
try to familarise myself with the new song 1st.its best if i can listen to it at least once so i know what it sounds like.even if i cant i can still try to find out all the fingerings as much as i can so that i wun have too much of a problem when the teacher is going thru the score.u dont have to necessarily have musical background to do this-just be more diligentXD. at least know where all the notes are found.i think someone once told me that practicing before the teacher teach is like reading a textbook before hand-even if you dont understand:)cos at least you will know what the teacher is talking about during the lesson itself.finally in the later part yinzhun can practice using tuner.so its best if everyone has one:D oh yar.it will also be good if you can sing through the score once before practicising.cos then paizi will be more accurate.(it doesnt matter whether u sing awfully or what.u are only singing to yourself)this is really effective ok.i have tried before.:)so do try:D

i know its quite hard work.but we can work hard starting from now,and save the trouble of having extra practices in the future:)-am sure you wun regret all the effort that you put in when you finally get the results of doing well:)jiayou!!:)
