Today's 早安老师 was great and lively from what I have seen. Well done! I thoroughly enjoyed the performance =).
Take a short break and then start practicing like siao again okay? The performance was great as the mood was just simply cheerful and your item was hands-down the most relevant to the Teachers' Day performance.
Having said that, dont get too complacent, and as we all know, there is no limit as to what can be accomplished if we speak on a musical level. ;)
Good job and keep up the hard work with this spirit. (;
-musical rant-
Once again, we see the effect of using a familiar song. This has been observed with JuHuaTai as well as QingHuaCi, where by we play songs that we have heard multitudes of time.
The advantage of doing so is that since we have been hearing this song for so many times, our ears are accustomed to hearing it 'right'. Therefore the song naturally sounds nice because everyone is playing it in tune, or rather, playing it 'right'.
Taking twinkle twinkle for example, any idiot that sings it out of tune is simply, well, a tone-deaf idiot. And i think its really hard to find such a person.
So what i'm driving at is this: Listen to more CO songs. For if you have listened to this song many times , you will be more likely to play it in tune when you get the chance to.
Get it?
Hearing a song more times = Easier to play in tune.
And it doesnt matter if you have to play a song you never listen before, just go start listening to it once you know of the need to perform it. (This doesn't mean that you have to listen to every song you perform in order to perform it well.)
Speaking from my humble experiences here. I do not have any other forms of piano/musical background, but I refuse to deny that this theory is false.
Any others that wish to add on, please do so. Zhanks!
